Billing
Payment Authorization: By confirming your reservation, you authorize FDJ Luxury Rides LLC to charge the credit or debit card provided for the total estimated cost of the service.
Pre-Authorization and Charging: For all reservations, your provided credit or debit card will be securely pre-authorized for the estimated fare at the time of booking. The full fare will be charged to your card 24 hours prior to the scheduled reservation date and time.
Total Estimated Cost: The total estimated cost provided at the time of booking is an estimate based on the information provided (e.g., distance, time, vehicle type). The final charge may be adjusted based on actual time, distance, tolls, parking fees, waiting time (if applicable and exceeding any complimentary grace period), and any agreed-upon additional charges.
Payment Methods Accepted: We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover.
Currency: All charges are processed in USD.
Receipts: A detailed receipt of your final charge will be sent to the email address provided during booking.
Changes to Reservations: If you need to make changes to your reservation, please notify us as soon as possible. Changes requested within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup time may be subject to cancellation fees as outlined in our Cancellation Policy.
Cancellation Policy: Please refer to our separate Cancellation Policy for details regarding cancellation fees and deadlines. By booking our services, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to our Cancellation Policy.
Disputes: If you have any questions or concerns regarding your billing, please contact us immediately at 813-302-1615 or support@fdjluxuryrides.com. We will review your inquiry promptly.
Gratuity: Unless otherwise specified, gratuity for the chauffeur is not included in the quoted fare and is at your discretion. Tolls and Parking: Applicable tolls and parking fees, if incurred during the service, may be added to the final fare.
Car Seats
Availability: Child safety seats (car seats) are available upon request for an additional fee, subject to availability at the time of your reservation.
Requesting Car Seats: Please indicate your need for a car seat, including the number and type required (infant, toddler, booster), during the booking process. This allows us to ensure appropriate arrangements can be made.
Additional Fee: An additional fee per car seat will be applied to your total fare. This fee covers the provision, installation check, and handling of the car seat.
Installation Responsibility: While our chauffeurs will ensure the requested car seat is present in the vehicle, the responsibility for the correct and secure installation of the car seat lies with the child’s parent or guardian, in accordance with the car seat manufacturer’s instructions and applicable safety guidelines. Our chauffeurs are not certified child passenger safety technicians and are unable to assist with the physical installation to ensure liability and proper fitting for your specific child.
Confirmation: Your car seat request will be confirmed prior to your reservation date, subject to availability.
Liability: FDJ Luxury Rides LLC is not liable for any injury or harm resulting from the improper installation or use of the car seat. The safety and well-being of the child remain the sole responsibility of the parent or guardian.
Cancellation of Car Seat Request: If you need to cancel your car seat request, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup time may still incur the car seat fee due to preparation and potential unavailability for other clients.
Cleaning
Maintaining a Clean Environment: We strive to provide all passengers with a clean and comfortable vehicle environment. We kindly request that passengers respect our vehicles and help us maintain this standard.
Excessive Cleaning: In the event that a passenger causes excessive soiling, spillage, vomiting, or any other mess that requires significant and specialized cleaning beyond our standard procedures, a cleaning fee will be applied.
Fee Assessment: The amount of the cleaning fee will be determined based on the extent of the mess and the time and materials required to restore the vehicle to a satisfactory condition. This may include, but is not limited to, professional detailing services and vehicle downtime.
Minimum Cleaning Fee: The minimum cleaning fee for such incidents will be $150. More extensive cleaning may result in higher fees.
Evidence: Photographic or other evidence of the mess may be taken to document the condition of the vehicle.
Payment of Cleaning Fee: The cleaning fee will be charged to the payment method on file for the reservation. You will be notified of the fee and provided with a description of the reason for the charge.
Reporting Incidents: We encourage passengers to inform their chauffeur immediately if any accidental spills or messes occur during the ride to allow for prompt and potentially less extensive cleaning.
Disputes: Any disputes regarding cleaning fees must be submitted in writing via email to support@fdjluxuryrides.com within 7 days of the charge. We will review all claims on a case-by-case basis.
Damages
Passenger Responsibility: Passengers are responsible for any damage they or their guests cause to the interior or exterior of our vehicles beyond normal wear and tear.
Types of Damage: This includes, but is not limited to, torn or stained upholstery, broken or damaged fixtures, scratched paint, dents, broken windows, or any other damage that requires repair or replacement.
Assessment of Damage: Upon discovery of damage after a ride, we will assess the extent of the damage and the cost of repair or replacement. This assessment may involve professional repair estimates.
Damage Fee: A damage fee will be charged to the payment method on file for the reservation to cover the reasonable costs of repair or replacement. The amount of the fee will be determined by the actual cost of the necessary repairs or replacements.
Documentation: Photographic or other evidence of the damage will be taken to document the condition of the vehicle before and after the ride. Repair estimates or invoices will also be retained as documentation.
Notification of Damage Fee: You will be notified of any damage fee and provided with a description of the damage and the estimated or actual cost of repair.
Reporting Damage: We encourage passengers to inform their chauffeur immediately if any accidental damage occurs during the ride.
Disputes: Any disputes regarding damage fees must be submitted in writing via email to support@fdjluxuryrides.com within 7 days of the charge. We will review all claims on a case-by-case basis.
Intentional Damage: Intentional damage to our vehicles may result in additional charges and potential termination of future service.
Drugs & Alcohol
Zero Tolerance Policy: FDJ Luxury Rides LLC maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding the possession, consumption, or influence of illegal drugs in our vehicles at any time. This policy applies to all passengers.
Alcohol Consumption: The consumption of alcoholic beverages is strictly prohibited in our vehicles unless explicitly permitted by prior written agreement for specific events (e.g., pre-arranged celebratory rides with specific terms). In such permitted cases, responsible consumption is expected. The chauffeur reserves the right to refuse service or terminate the ride if any passenger becomes unruly or intoxicated to a degree that poses a safety risk to themselves, the chauffeur, or others.
Illegal Substances: The possession or use of any illegal substances is strictly forbidden in our vehicles. Any violation of this policy will result in immediate termination of the ride, and law enforcement may be contacted.
Chauffeur Authority: Our chauffeurs have the authority to refuse service to any individual they suspect of being under the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol to a degree that could compromise safety or the integrity of the service.
Consequences of Violation: Violation of this policy may result in: Immediate termination of the ride without refund. Assessment of cleaning fees if any mess or odor results from alcohol consumption or drug use. Potential damage fees if any damage to the vehicle occurs due to intoxication. Reporting of illegal activities to the appropriate authorities. Refusal of future service.
Passenger Responsibility: Passengers are responsible for ensuring that they and their guests comply with this Drug and Alcohol Policy at all times while in our vehicles.
Reporting Concerns: If you have any concerns about a passenger’s behavior or potential violation of this policy, please inform your chauffeur immediately.
Lost Items
Passenger Responsibility: Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings while using our services. FDJ Luxury Rides LLC is not responsible for any items lost or left behind in our vehicles.
Chauffeur Assistance: While we are not liable for lost items, our chauffeurs will make reasonable efforts to check the vehicle for any items left behind at the end of each trip.
Reporting Lost Items: If you believe you have left an item in one of our vehicles, please contact us as soon as possible by calling 813-302-1615 or emailing support@fdjluxuryrides.com with a detailed description of the item, the date and time of your ride, and the pickup and drop-off locations.
Found Items: If an item is found in one of our vehicles, we will make reasonable attempts to contact the owner if identifying information is available.
Storage of Found Items: Found items will be stored securely for a reasonable period of time, typically 30 days. After this period, unclaimed items may be disposed of or donated.
Retrieval of Lost Items: If your item is found, you will be responsible for arranging a convenient time and location to retrieve it. You may be required to provide proof of ownership before the item is returned.
Return Shipping: If you require the item to be shipped to you, you will be responsible for all associated shipping and handling costs. We will only ship items after receiving prepayment for these costs.
Perishable or Unhygienic Items: FDJ Luxury Rides LLC reserves the right to immediately dispose of any perishable, hazardous, or unhygienic items found in our vehicles.
Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, FDJ Luxury Rides LLC’s liability for lost or damaged personal belongings left in our vehicles is expressly disclaimed.
Miscellaneous
Service Area: Our services are primarily offered within Tampa Bay and surrounding areas. Service outside of this area may be available upon request and may be subject to different rates or availability. Please inquire at the time of booking.
Service Availability: While we strive to provide reliable service, availability is subject to vehicle and chauffeur availability, as well as unforeseen circumstances. We recommend booking in advance, especially during peak seasons or for special events.
Right to Refuse Service: FDJ Luxury Rides LLC reserves the right to refuse service to any individual who violates these Terms and Conditions, poses a safety risk to the chauffeur or others, or is deemed unfit for transportation at the chauffeur’s discretion.
No Solicitation: Solicitation of any kind within our vehicles is strictly prohibited.
Modifications to Terms: FDJ Luxury Rides LLC reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The latest version of the Terms and Conditions will be posted on our website www.fdjluxuryrides.com. By using our services after any modifications, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms and Conditions.
Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Entire Agreement: These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and any other written agreements between you and FDJ Luxury Rides LLC, constitute the entire agreement relating to our services and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether oral or written.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Headings: The headings used in these Terms and Conditions are for convenience only and will not affect their interpretation.
Force Majeure: FDJ Luxury Rides LLC shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations hereunder where such failure results from any cause beyond our reasonable control, including, without limitation, mechanical breakdown, strikes, labor disputes, acts of God, fire, flood, war, civil disturbance, or other similar events.
Overages & Wait Times
Quoted Fare: The fare quoted at the time of booking is an estimate based on the information provided, including the anticipated distance and time of travel.
Overages: The final fare may be subject to adjustments for overages in distance or time beyond the initial estimate.
Distance Overages: If the actual distance traveled exceeds the estimated distance, an additional charge of $1.85 to $2.05 per mile (depending on the vehicle selected) will apply for each additional mile.
Time Overages: If the actual trip duration exceeds the estimated time due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., passenger-requested route changes, additional stops not included in the original booking), an additional charge of $1.25 per minute will apply for the excess time.
Wait Time at Pickup: A complimentary grace period of 10 minutes is typically provided for passenger arrival at the scheduled pickup location. Wait Time Charges (Beyond Grace Period): If the passenger is not ready for pickup after the complimentary grace period, wait time charges will apply at a rate of $2 per minute. These charges will commence from the end of the grace period until the passenger enters the vehicle. Wait Time During Stops (If Applicable): For point-to-point transfers, brief stops (e.g., for quick errands) must be communicated during booking or to the chauffeur. Extended wait times during stops, beyond a reasonable duration agreed upon with the chauffeur, may be subject to the per-minute wait time charge. For hourly services, the booked hourly rate covers reasonable wait times between destinations as directed by the client.
Passenger-Requested Changes: Any significant changes to the route or additional stops requested by the passenger during the trip that were not part of the original booking may result in additional charges based on added distance and/or time. The chauffeur will inform the passenger of potential additional costs before proceeding with the changes whenever possible.
Calculation of Overages and Wait Time: Overages in distance and time, as well as wait time charges, will be calculated based on GPS tracking and the actual duration of the service.
Transparency: The final fare, including any applicable overage or wait time charges, will be clearly itemized on the receipt provided after the completion of the service.
Passenger Behavior
Respectful Conduct: Passengers are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and in a manner that does not endanger or offend the chauffeur or other members of the public.
Compliance with Chauffeur Instructions: Passengers must comply with all reasonable instructions given by the chauffeur to ensure the safety and smooth operation of the service.
Prohibited Activities: The following behaviors are strictly prohibited in our vehicles: Disruptive, unruly, or offensive behavior, including shouting, excessive noise, or harassment of the chauffeur or others. Any illegal activities, including the possession or use of illegal drugs (as per our Drug and Alcohol Policy). Excessive consumption of alcohol (except in explicitly pre-arranged and permitted circumstances, and even then, to a responsible degree). Open containers of alcohol (unless explicitly permitted by prior written agreement). Littering or damaging the vehicle (as per our Damage to Vehicle Policy). Any behavior that makes the chauffeur feel unsafe or threatened. Tampering with vehicle controls or equipment without the chauffeur’s permission. Extending body parts or objects outside of the vehicle windows.
Chauffeur Authority: The chauffeur has the right to refuse service or terminate the ride at any time if a passenger’s behavior is deemed to be in violation of this policy or poses a risk to safety or the integrity of the service.
Consequences of Inappropriate Behavior: Violation of this Passenger Behavior Policy may result in: Immediate termination of the ride without refund. Assessment of cleaning fees (if applicable, as per our Cleaning Fee Policy). Assessment of damage fees (if applicable, as per our Damage to Vehicle Policy). Refusal of future service. Reporting of illegal activities to the appropriate authorities.
Responsibility for Guests: The passenger who booked the service is responsible for the behavior of any guests traveling with them and will be held accountable for any violations of this policy by their guests.
Child Supervision: Passengers traveling with children are responsible for their supervision and ensuring their behavior is appropriate and does not endanger themselves or others.
Pick-up/Drop-off Locations
Accurate Information: Passengers are responsible for providing accurate and complete pickup and drop-off addresses or specific location details at the time of booking. This ensures efficient and timely service.
Accessibility: Passengers should ensure that the designated pickup and drop-off locations are safe, legal, and easily accessible for our vehicles. If a location is inaccessible due to road closures, construction, parking restrictions, or other unforeseen issues, the chauffeur will make reasonable efforts to find the nearest safe and legal alternative.
Curbside Service: Our standard service involves curbside pickup and drop-off at the specified locations.
Meet and Greet Services: If a “Meet and Greet” service is requested (e.g., at an airport baggage claim), this must be specified at the time of booking and may incur an additional fee. The exact meeting point should be clearly communicated and agreed upon.
Changes to Locations: Any changes to the originally booked pickup or drop-off locations must be communicated to us as soon as possible. Changes may be subject to additional charges based on increased distance or time. We cannot guarantee that changes can be accommodated if requested with short notice.
Multiple Stops: If your itinerary includes multiple stops, these must be clearly indicated at the time of booking. Failure to do so may result in additional charges or the inability to accommodate unscheduled stops.
Waiting at Pickup: Our wait time policy (as outlined separately) applies to passenger delays at the designated pickup location.
Chauffeur Discretion: The chauffeur reserves the right to refuse to proceed to a pickup or drop-off location if it is deemed unsafe or inaccessible for the vehicle. In such cases, the chauffeur will communicate with the passenger to find a suitable alternative.
Airport Procedures: For airport pickups, passengers are responsible for providing accurate flight information to allow for flight tracking. Passengers should also adhere to the specific pickup procedures outlined by the airport and communicated by our service.
Liability: FDJ Luxury Rides LLC is not liable for any delays or additional charges resulting from inaccurate or incomplete location information provided by the passenger or inaccessible pickup/drop-off locations.
Seating Capacity
Vehicle Capacity: Each vehicle in our fleet has a specified maximum seating capacity, which is determined by the manufacturer and for safety and insurance reasons, must not be exceeded under any circumstances.
Passenger Count: The number of passengers indicated at the time of booking must accurately reflect the total number of individuals requiring transportation.
Legal and Safety Compliance: Adhering to the vehicle’s seating capacity is crucial for legal compliance, insurance coverage, and the safety of all occupants. Overloading a vehicle can compromise its handling and increase the risk of accidents.
Infants and Children: For the purpose of seating capacity, each person, regardless of age (including infants and children), counts as one passenger and occupies a seat.
Car Seats: While we offer car seats upon request for an additional fee, the child in the car seat still counts towards the vehicle’s total seating capacity.
Refusal of Service Due to Overcapacity: If the number of passengers at the time of pickup exceeds the stated seating capacity of the booked vehicle, the chauffeur reserves the right to refuse service to the excess passengers to comply with safety regulations and company policy. In such cases, cancellation fees may apply as per our Cancellation Policy.
Upgrading for Larger Groups: If your group size exceeds the capacity of your initially booked vehicle, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss alternative vehicle options that can accommodate your party (subject to availability and potential additional charges).
Passenger Responsibility: The passenger who booked the service is responsible for accurately indicating the number of passengers requiring transportation at the time of booking and ensuring that this number does not exceed the vehicle’s stated capacity.
Smoking
Strictly Prohibited: Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited in all FDJ Luxury Rides LLC vehicles at all times. This includes, but is not limited to, cigarettes, cigars, pipes, electronic cigarettes (vapes), and any other smoking or vaporizing devices.
Health and Comfort: This policy is in place to ensure a clean, comfortable, and healthy environment for all passengers and our chauffeurs. Many individuals have sensitivities or allergies to smoke and its residue.
No Exceptions: There are no exceptions to this policy. Passengers may not smoke at any point during their journey, including while the vehicle is stopped.
Consequences of Violation: Violation of this non-smoking policy may result in: Immediate termination of the ride without refund. Assessment of a cleaning fee to cover the cost of deodorizing and cleaning the vehicle to remove smoke residue and odors. The minimum cleaning fee for smoking in the vehicle will be [Specify Minimum Fee Amount, e.g., $100]. Refusal of future service.
Passenger Responsibility: Passengers are responsible for adhering to this non-smoking policy and ensuring that their guests also comply.
Reporting Violations: If you observe another passenger violating this policy, please inform your chauffeur immediately.
Trip Updates
Communication Channels: FDJ Luxury Rides LLC may provide trip updates via various communication channels, including but not limited to SMS/text message, email, or phone call, using the contact information provided at the time of booking. Please ensure your contact information is accurate and up-to-date.
Types of Updates: Trip updates may include information such as: Confirmation of your booking. Reminders about your upcoming ride. Notifications regarding your chauffeur’s estimated time of arrival (ETA). Updates on any unforeseen delays due to traffic, weather, or other external factors. Changes to your booking (if any, and with prior notification whenever possible).
ETA Estimates: Any estimated time of arrival provided is an estimate and may be subject to change due to real-time traffic conditions and other factors beyond our control. We will strive to provide the most accurate information available.
Passenger Responsibility for Contact Information: It is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure that the phone number and email address provided during booking are correct and that they are able to receive communications through these channels.
Opt-Out of Updates: While trip updates are intended to enhance your experience, you may have the option to opt-out of certain types of notifications. Please inform us of your preferences during booking or by contacting our customer service. Note that opting out may limit our ability to provide you with real-time information about your ride.
Delays Beyond Our Control: FDJ Luxury Rides LLC is not liable for delays caused by factors beyond our reasonable control, such as severe weather, heavy traffic, road closures, accidents, or other unforeseen events. We will, however, make reasonable efforts to communicate any significant delays to you as soon as we are aware of them.
Chauffeur Communication: Your chauffeur may also contact you directly via phone call or text message to coordinate pickup or address any immediate logistical issues related to your ride.
Data Privacy: Any personal information shared for the purpose of providing trip updates will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
